Christine Fox, MD, MAS,  is an associate professor of neurology and pediatrics at UCSF. She is dual board-certified in vascular neurology and child neurology, with a master's degree in clinical research. She directs the Pediatric Stroke and Cerebrovascular Disease Center at Benioff Children’s Hospital. Her clinical research studies focus on pediatric ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, utilizing an international pediatric stroke network to study global variation in management strategies and geographic or social determinants of outcomes. Her research has been supported by the NIH, the American Heart Association, and the Pediatric Epilepsy Research Foundation. She co-chairs the Pediatric Stroke Readiness Group for the International Pediatric Stroke Organization and serves on the Executive and Publications Committees of the International Pediatric Stroke Study consortium.
