EDUCATION

BALANCE is committed to training the next generation of leaders in global neurology, neuro-equity, and neuro-infectious diseases dedicated to addressing neurologic health disparities in our local communities and worldwide.

The cornerstone of the BALANCE education mission is collaborative training achieved through harnessing shared expertise and resources across disciplines.

BALANCE trainees will gain the skills required to successfully carry out high-impact, patient-centered research and to deliver equitable patient care in low-resource and underserved communities in the US and internationally. BALANCE training includes focused training in health disparities and implementation science research, inclusive educational practices, and provision of equitable patient care for diverse communities.
